Recovery.GovFunds supporting this program were appropriated in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program administered by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. ARRA/Byrne funds were awarded to the Massachusetts Executive Office for Public Safety and Security (EOPSS). EOPSS entered into an Interdepartmental Service Agreement with the Department of Workforce Development to transfer the funds to Commonwealth Corporation for grant administration and program oversight. The program is being implemented in cooperation between The Career Place and the Metro North Regional Employment Board.
