| Course Description |
Course Objectives |
This 4-hour course provides information on creating a Business Continuity Plan to manage your organization following a catastrophic event. By creating a BCP, organizations will reduce risks in the event of a disaster, recover from financial loses, comply with regulations, bolster credibility, and lower their insurance costs.
This course is part of the PrepLink(SM) Community Preparedness Schoolhouse Curriculum developed through the University of Pittsburg Medical Center and facilitated by Middlesex Community College faculty. |
- Create a list of team members to include when drafting a Business Continuity Plan
- Complete a Risk Assessment Analysis Matrix
- Complete a Business Impact Analysis Matrix
- Describe the options for protection in terms of cost
- Create a Business Continuity Plan using the COOP template
- Describe training requirements and Explain how to test a BC Plan.
- Recognize the importance of maintaining a current BC plan.
