We support our troups We are excited to inform you of the innovative services and new resources available at The Career Place. These key services are available to veterans without charge:
  • State/Federal job preference
  • Vets Representative who will work one-on-one with you in planning a successful job search campaign
  • Information and advice about the VA disability claims process
  • Plus, free One-Stop Career Center services, including:
    • Job listings and labor market information
    • Training information and referrals
    • Vocational interest assessment
    • Workshops on résumé preparation, interviewing, and using computers and the Internet
    • Personal computers, fax machines, and phones available for your use

Personal care services via MassHealth/CommonHealth
Personal care services via MassHealth/CommonHealth can be obtained by disabled vets (service-related or not service-related disability)
- Must work 40 hours per month if age 64 or older
- Financial disclosure is required on the application

Locality salary: $28,000 to $36,000 annual with U.S. Federal Government benefits. Veterans preference is applied.
 
The Disabled American Veterans Mobile Services
The laws and rules change each year. Learn about the new veterans rights and benefits including family members. All services are free! Bring your claim number, Social Security number, and any other pertinent documentation to any DAV Mobile Service Office site.

Salary: $13.51 and $12.00 respectively.
Exams: RCA - exam required. TRC - exam not required.
