Outplacement Services

The Career Place is dedicated to providing assistance to our customers to help them achieve success in the ever-changing world of business, including the necessities of corporate downsizing. Our outplacement solutions meet the needs of the employer and outgoing employees, as well as remaining employees. Our involvement can range from management of the entire process, or of specific components, depending on your business needs.

Examples include:

Management of legal compliance and notification requirements; updating of corporate policy and employee handbook content

Management of one-on-one communication with outgoing employees

Management of communications with key internal and external audiences (e.g. organization-wide announcements, public relations, communications with remaining staff to boost morale and maintain productivity)

Establishment of on-site resources to assist outgoing employees

Employee services include:

Education about unemployment insurance

Workshops to develop an effective job-search campaign

One-on-one counseling and job development consultations

Note: Pre-paid vouchers are also available for employees to take workshops of their choice at a later date.
